Urban Trauma Center

The Outpatient Urban Trauma Center founded by the Department of Children and Families, provides mental health services to Black, Indigenous, Latinx, Asian, and/or multi-racial youth and children of color and their families who have experienced or been exposed to racial, urban, and other related traumas.  Services are designed to promote mental health and improve functioning in children, youth, and families and to decrease the prevalence of and incidence of mental illness, emotional disturbance, and social dysfunction as it relates to racial trauma.

GBAPP is a 501 (c) private/non-profit community organization.  Our social services have supported and strengthened Bridgeport's most vulnerable communities and people for nearly 40 years.
