Women's and Men's Health Project

The Women's and Men's Health Project (WMHP) provides a seamless continuum of care for underserved women and men who are living with HIV/AIDS, linking them with primary care, housing, emergency financial assistance, substance abuse treatment and other vital services. It also serves the partners of these men and women. To provide this continuum of care, the WMHP works collaboratively with six other Bridgeport-based agencies: Bridgeport Community Health Center, Bridgeport Hospital, the Evergreen Network, FSW, Inc., Park City Primary Care Center and Southwest Community Health Center. The WMHP also provides an on-going support group for those infected and/or affected with HIV/AIDS. The project is funded by the Health Resources and Services Administration, through the City of New Haven's Ryan White Title I Office. It serves 250 women and men and their partners each year. For more information about Ryan White funding in New Haven and Fairfield counties (Connecticut), click here.
