Thank You For Supporting GBAPP!
The Greater Bridgeport
Adolescent Pregnancy Program has made remarkable progress in
the effort to reduce unintended pregnancy and HIV/AIDS in the greater Bridgeport area. Serving over 5,000 youth and families
annually,
GBAPP continues to live our mission. Think of your donation as an
investment toward the future health and well being of our young
people. Think of yourself as a partner in our efforts.
You may use any of the methods
listed below to make a contribution to GBAPP:
Online Donations
You can make a secure donation
online using your credit card, anytime of the day or night. You
have the option to support a specific program area and/or to make
an unrestricted donation to the GBAPP general fund. The general
fund allows us to use your donation as best we can to meet the
most pressing needs at the time. Just click the “Click & Pledge”
button and follow the instructions provided.
Cash Donations
Cash donations are
our
most popular form of support. First download the printable form

Then, make out your check payable to "The Greater Bridgeport
Adolescent Pregnancy Program, Inc." or simply "GBAPP, Inc."

Matching Gifts
Your
cash gift could be matched

that will double or even triple a donation's value. If you have
questions about your company's matching gift program, please
contact your personnel office. Once you have determined your
company matches donations made to GBAPP, obtain the appropriate
form from your personnel or human resources office and send it with a
copy of your gift receipt to the address below.
Flights, Hotels, Cruises,
Vacations and More
We
have recently partnered with yourtravelbiz.com to allow supporters
to make competitive
travel arrangements AND, at the same time, make donations to
GBAPP. Through our portal, supporters can book flights,
hotels, cruises and vacations. They can also rent cars and obtain
other valuable extras. This is all while getting the
best rates
from such travel giants as travelocity.com and hotels.com. Best of
all, GBAPP will share in the proceeds and be able to carry on its
critical work in the community. To check out current deals and
rates,
click
here to go to the portal. And be sure to come back any time
you need to make travel arrangements.
Yahoo GoodSearch
GoodSearch is a Yahoo-powered search engine that donates 50% of
its advertising revenue (about a penny per search) to the user’s
favorite charity – GBAPP! The pennies add up quickly. Every time
you do a search, money goes to GBAPP. The site is powered by Yahoo
so you'll get the same quality search results that you're used to.
The more people who use this site, the more money will go to those
in need. All you have to do is conduct all your internet searches
from the GoodSearch site. It is as simple as that! You can make it
even easier if you make Yahoo GoodSearch your homepage.
to get some simple instructions on how to do so. Then spread the
word to your friends and family.
In-Kind Gifts: Food,
Clothing, etc.
At
GBAPP, clients are our
number one priority. Food, clothing, personal and household supplies
are always needed and donations of these items are
appreciated. For instance, our grocery bill at Mi Casa can
exceed $2,000 a month. Diapers alone can come to more than $20 a
day. In addition, to be able to run our programs, we need modern office
equipment and supplies. This keeps our organization up-to-date. To
find
out how to make your contribution today, contact Rudy Feudo, Executive Director,
at (203) 384-3629 or
rfeudo@gbapp.org.
Volunteer Opportunities
As a non-profit organization, funds
are always in short supply. One way to extend our budget is
through the use of volunteers. Volunteer positions at GBAPP
include any of the following: tutors, mentors, monitors/escorts,
homework assistants, babysitters, special event representatives,
office assistants, health fair representatives, housekeepers and
donation collectors. Likewise, if you are skilled in a trade or
service, such as computer networking, software/hardware,
construction / maintenance, printing, promotions, etc, please
think of GBAPP. Other volunteer positions may be created based
upon the unique skills and experience of the applicant.
