The Greater
Bridgeport Adolescent Pregnancy Program has an opening for the
following positions.
COMMUNITY BASED
LIFE SKILLS EDUCATOR
funded under the Department of Children & Families. This
full-time position is responsible for conducting classroom group
training, & individual instruction regarding a broad range of
life skills to the youth in the foster home program who are
participating in the program. Requires Bachelor’s degree in
Education, Human Services or related field; & one year related
experience working with children/adolescents, & demonstrated
competency using Ansell Casey Life Skills Program. Must have
excellent written, oral & presentation skills on an individual &
group basis; must be able to interface with teens, parents,
program & agency staff, & community partners & resources; must
be computer literate, & have knowledge of community & social
service systems in the Greater Bridgeport region. Must have
valid CT driver’s license, & reliable transportation. Bi-lingual
English/Spanish helpful.
